ACKERMAN Helen Jean, 72, of Newtown died March 30, 2010 at Hospice in Anderson Township, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Evelyn Freeman. She is survived by sons Donald Ackerman, Newtown, OH and Kevin Ackerman, (Rachel) and granddaughter Evelyn of Lexington. Sisters Mary Jane Jones, Frankfort and Nancy Freeman, Lexington. She retired as a secretary at the University of Cincinnati. A memorial service will be Sunday April, 18 at the Newtown First Methodist Church, 3546 Church St., Cincinnati 45244. Visitation will be at 12:30 with a memorial service at 1:00. Donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, 7691 Five Mile Road, Cincinnati, OH 45230 or your local Hospice.
