Backscheider, Joseph Earl of Summerside. Passed January 30, 2012 at the age of 86. Husband of the late Margaret H. Backscheider. Loving father of Marla Holman. Cherished grandfather of Erica (Andy) Fisk & Robyn (Danny) Woodley. Great-grandfather of Evan Fisk & very special friends of Michael & Sharon Wolf, John & Christie Jump, & David & Natalie Fiscus. The family will receive all of Earl 's friends Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 5-8 PM at the Moore Family Funeral Home 225 Spring St Batavia. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Friday, February 3, 2012 at Holy Trinity Church 140 North 6th St. Batavia. Interment Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Earl & his wife owned & operated Earl's Market on Old 74 for 30 years. Earl also enjoyed a long second career at Sporty's Pilot Shop in Batavia. Memorials may be directed to:
