Ralph, 4/12/10, age 84, resident of Eastgate. Devoted husband of Jewell (nee Green, Shoemaker) Sams. Father of 6 children, preceded in death by 1 sister. Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 1 great, great-grandchild & one niece & nephew. Loving caregivers: Deane Shoemaker & Tom Abrams. Family will receive friends Thursday 5 PM to 8 PM with a Masonic Services at 7 PM at Moore Family Funeral Homes 225 Spring St. Batavia Service Friday 11 AM at Clough Pike Baptist Church 1025 Clough Pike. Interment Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Ralph worked at Heekin Can for over 40 yrs. & was a 55 year member & Past Master of JB Covert Lodge #437, member of & Past Master of Amelia Lodge #590, member of Scottish Rite & Shrine. Memorials to Debt Reduction for the church & Shriner's Hospital.
