Mother Thelma Sells, 84, was a member of the Blanchester, Ohio Congregation. She passed away on March 2, 2010 at her home in Mt. Orab, Ohio.
She was born on Februaey 24, 1926 in Krypton, Kentucky to the late Robert and Carlee (Leonard) Eversole. Mother Thelma was one of eleven children. She was preceded in death by her Late husband Adv. Pres. Eld. Levi Sells and eight brothers and sisters.
Mother Thelma Sels was joined in holy matrimony to Adv. Pres. Eld. Levi Sells on June 22, 1946. From this union was born four children.
Mother Thelma Sells joined The Supreme Council of the House of Jacob in June, 1958 in New Richmond, Ohio. Mother Sells was instrumental and supportive of opening new works in the southwestern portion of Ohio and was a good and faithful missionary. Mother Thelma will always be remembered for her tasty potato salad and delicious oatmeal cake.
She leaves to mourn her loss three daughters, Sr. Mth. Tina Bowers (Bishop K. Paul Boers), Sr. Mth. Pamela Findley (Pre. Eld. Paul Findley), Elderess Jacqualine Myers (Elder Timothy Myers), and one son Pres. Eld. Levi Israel Sells (Elderess Lisa Sells), one brother, Denver Eversole (Betty Eversole) and one sister Elvira Adams (Chester Adams), 19 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
