Monroe, resident of Batavia 11/05/2010 age 69 beloved & devoted husband of Martha Jane Zeigler (nee Campbell) loving father of Shannon (Anne), Christopher (Bridget) & Nathan (Amanda) Zeigler. Brother of Shirley Worthington, John Zeigler & the late Barbara Vice. Cherished grandfather of Pierce, Blake, Rowan, Meredith & Arden Zeigler & other relatives. Family will receive friends Monday, November 8, 2010 from 3PM to 7PM service Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 11AM from the Moore Family Funeral Homes 225 Spring Street Batavia. (732-2221). Interment Batavia Union Cemetery. Monroe taught Industrial Arts @ Amelia High school for 3 yrs & 29 yrs at Bethel Tate High School. Also worked for Sears @ Eastgate Mall for 10 yrs. He was active for 19 yrs as a member of AA & a past member of the Knights Of Columbus. He was a Scout leader of Pack #276, a lifelong carpenter & backyard fish pond enthusiast.
