Trout, Donald Eugene of Amelia Ohio Passed on 11-26-2020 at his home with family. He was born in New Marshfield, Ohio, the son of the late Bernard and Leola Trout (nee Thompson). He grew up in Newport Kentucky then served in the Army, moved to Ohio and worked at Ford Motor Company until he retired. He loved his family and friends dearly. His hobby was restoring and selling antique furniture. He had a great sense of humor and liked to fish. Devoted husband of the late Thelma J. Trout (nee Gammell). Loving father of Debbie Smelser, Linda White and the late David Trout. Stepfather of Shirley Robinson and Barbara Cutts. Cherished grandfather of 10, and great grandfather of 17. Beloved brother of the late Robert Trout and his baby sister, Majel Trout. Family will receive family and friends Saturday, December 12, 2020 for inurnment and Celebration of Life 12 Noon at Batavia Union Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Batavia, OH.
