Dorothy May Aicholtz

Dorothy Aicholtz (nee Bost), of Mt. Carmel area moved to heaven at age 90 on Sept 14, 2016. Beloved wife of 66 years of Calvin Aicholtz, devoted and proud mother of John (Vicki), Delbert, and Rebecca Aicholtz, adoring grandmother of Jacob (Kerry), Abraham (Lori), Ben (Kate), and Hannah Aicholtz and Elizabeth Berry (Colin), and loving great-grandmother of Paige, John, Jenny, Kate, Joseph, Henry, and Paul Aicholtz, Caroline Diana, and Kearie, Calvin, and Avee Berry. Dear Aunt of many nieces and nephews she adored. Dear friend of many. Dorothy loved God and loved others with all her heart. She was gifted with the ability to see the beauty inside each person she met. She had a very generous heart and willingly shared her talents and resources. She also saw beauty in nature and enjoyed creating floral arrangements for her friends, church, and community events. She humbly received several lifetime achievement awards. Visitation will be on September 22, 10am, followed by celebration of life service at noon at Summerside United Methodist Church, 638 Old State Route 74, Cincinnati, OH 45244.
