Devoted husband of Geneva (née Lainhart) Hayes for 70 years. Loving father of Ronald G. Hayes (Maki), Rickey D. Hayes (Lyn). Brother of Jewel Arbuckle and preceded in death by one sister and one brother. Cherished grandfather of Ryan Hayes (Faith), Shad Hayes, Ian Hayes, Garrett Hayes (Allison), Brittany Markus (Josh), Nicolette "Nikki" Hayes and Otaka "Oto" Hayes. Great-grandfather of Brynlee Hayes, Eli Hayes, Aubrie Hayes, McKenna Markus and Liam Markus. The family will receive friends Friday 6 PM until 9 PM at Moore Family Funeral Homes, 6708 Main Street, Newtown, Ohio. On Saturday, April 30, a visitation will be held at 1 PM until time of service at 2 PM at Lakes Funeral Home, 1181 Main Street South, McKee, Kentucky 40447 (606) 287-7141. Interment will be at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.
