Very sad day I love and miss you deeply family and friends you are in my prayers I remember the first year i helped with the garden he brings out a back saver it was as simple as a pvc pipe and a can to hold the seeds so you were not bent over he could turn nothing into something pa (howard) he was not one to sit around and the story's he could tell never a dull moment just remember family and friends pa (howard) would want us all to celebrate his life verses morning his death. GOD grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. Love and prayers.

Howard was a friend to many, and found great joy in his family. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. He insisted when I was ill that they bring me home with them so they, he and my sister Mary, could care for me. One or both were with me all the time. I was there six months and in that time I got to spend a lot of time with him. I loved the little smile he made when Mary caught him doing something she didn't like him to do. He was like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar. I loved to see him grow in his relationship with the Lord. I miss him meeting me at the car and helping me out and into the house. I will miss seeing the affection between my sister and he, and hearing her call him tootser. He was a good hugger. When he hugged you, you knew you were hugged. I will miss his smile. He was the hardest working man I ever knew. He had such a zest for life. Our world seems a little darker without him. My heart aches so badly, and my sisters heart is broken. But Howard is in a place free from pain and sorrows. Catching up with friends and family who have gone before, and probably playing tricks on the angels. I know we will see him soon, but for now, we have to learn how to go on without him. But he will always be here because he is only a memory away. Heaven is a better place because he is there. I have no doubt about that. The place reserved in my heart for him can never be filled by anyone else. I love him and miss him. Good night buddie.

Uncle Howard was always ready and willing to help his family with anything and everything, no matter how big of a headache the project would be. He will be greatly missed, but the impact he had on family and friends will live on.

Howard was the oldest of my five loving Brothers. He was so kind and caring to his family and friends. He would always lend a helping hand. Howard was so kind and supportive to his two daughters Jean Ann and Joann always helping and showing them they were the apple of his eye. Brother you will be missed by everyone you loved. Love always Sister Bernice.
