MERICE Joan L. 5/30/14 age 80 resident of Union Township, devoted wife of the late Robert L. Merice. Loving mother of Deborah C. (Ron) Ball, Robert E. (Ingrid), Scott R. ( Tessie ) & Regina Merice Fairchild . Sister of the Jerry Wellman, Carl Lane, Ruth Sanderfer & the late John Wellman. Grandmother of Michael, Rachael, Ryan, Tara, Sharnel, Steben, Samantha, Timothy, Ernie III, & Chelsie. Great-grandmother of Lillain ,Olivia, Alisha, Dakota, Aidan, Aubree, William, Zoe, Elijah, Jacob, Bentlee, Mason,Trinity, & Sabrina. Also survived by numerous nieces & nephews. Family will receive friends Friday 8:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial 10AM all at the St. Veronica Catholic Church 4473 Mt. Carmel Tobasco Rd 45244. Interment Mt. Moriah Cemetery.Memorials may be directed to the American Lung Association or to the American Cancer society. Joan was a 50+ yr. member of St. Veronica's & was volunteer for Brantner Elementary & Girl Scout leader.
