Loving father of Roxanne (Walter) Mcphail, Michael Gries, Karen (Chuck) Wilson, Tammy Gries and Elizabeth Gries. Dear brother of Garnet (Ron) Hill, Judith Black, Thomas (Carol) Gries, late William Bleything, late Robert Gries, late Patricia (Robert) McKee, late Michael Gries and the late Roger (Mary) Gries. Grandfather of Shawna Luhosky, Randy Wilson, Jennifer Wilson, Justine Gries-Eversole, Isabella Gries-Eversole, Rebecca Gries-Lancaster, Skylar Gries, Trysten Gries, Paige Stein and the late Savon Edwards. Great-Grandfather of Jayden Luhosky, Jacob Snyder and Lillian Snyder. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and his faithful dogs Snitz and Samson. A gathering of Family and friends will be held December 6, 2015 from 1PM to 5 PM at 8682 Appleblossom Lane Cincinnati, Ohio 45244 to Celebrate John's life . Memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes, Cancer Society or charity of choice.
