Linda Louise Buerkle

Linda Louise (Ruh) Buerkle of Williamsburg, OH passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the age of 74. She was born on June 2, 1947 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Frederick and Elizabeth (Sax) Ruh. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Frederick Ruh. She is survived by the love of her life, Paul; children Gregory (Cynthia) James, Lisa Mercer, Sharon (James) Detmer, Melissa (John) Tellep, Christine Thomas, Kyla (Anthony) Masturzo, Dereck (Jennifer) Glover and Leigha Hughbanks; brothers Gregory, Michael, Robin (Diane) and Andrew (Barbara) Ruh; 21 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Linda graduated from Cincinnati State with a degree in nursing. In her career as a dedicated nurse, which she loved, she cared for many people. She was always eager to help anyone who needed it and talk to anyone, as she never met a stranger. She attended church at Clear Mountain Community Church in Williamsburg, OH. Linda loved God, good food, gardening, rescuing cats and visiting with her friends and family whom she loved very much. She will be so missed by everyone who was acquainted with her during her life. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at Clear Mountain Community Church, 4050 Tollgate Road, Batavia, OH 45103. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Clermont Mercy Hospital ICU in Linda's memory.
