Michael T. Broerman

Michael T. Broerman Sr., age 68, passed September 3rd, 2021. Resident of Newtown, Ohio. Son of the late Jack and Patricia Broerman. Loving Husband, of 47 years, to Geraldine M. "Gerry" (nee Richardson) Broerman. Caring Father to Michael T. Jr. (Mia) Broerman, and Jennifer (Mike) Hayward. Loving grandfather to the late Austin Hill, Kyle Hayward, Regan Broerman, Tyler (Kelci) Hayward, Kennedi Carter, Dylan Hayward, Madeline Hayward, Chloe Broerman, Choen Broerman, Nicholas Broerman, and Emersyn Broerman. Beloved brother of Kathleen Schram, Suzanne Hemer, Joe Broerman, and sister in law, Glenda Gibson. Mike volunteered with the Newtown Fire Department in the 80's through the early 90's. Many in town knew him from his time as Santa Claus during their winter fundraisers. He was also an avid Go-Kart and Car Racer. His day job was spent as a Technician, building machines to help patients with Atrial Fibrillation. He earned the company's "Heart of Atricure" Award for his commitment to Atrial Fibrillation patients during his time there. Visitation will be held Monday, September 13th, 2021, from 10 am to 12 noon Service at Moore Family Funeral Home, 6708 Main Street, Newtown, Ohio. Interment Mt. Moriah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Toys for Tots, The American Heart Association, The American Lung Association, or The Scleroderma Foundation.
