Nora Sparks

NORA SPARKS, age 71 of Clanton, AL, passed away on December 8, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Kentucky on June 2, 1943; the daughter of the late Buford Puckett and the late Dovie Poe Puckett. She was a homemaker. Nora was an avid animal lover, who advocated for the care and love of all God’s creatures. She is survived by: Husband, Denton Sparks of Clanton, AL; Sisters: Ethel Dunn of Marion, OH, Nancy Terry of Marion, OH, Dorothy Peskin of Dayton, OH, Bertha Howard of Lublin, OH, and Alice Miller of Dayton, OH; and a Brother, Rodney Puckett of Richmond, IN. She is preceded in death by: Parents, Buford and Dovie Puckett; Sister, Mary Banks; and Brothers, James Puckett and Arthur Puckett. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 6-8pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 12:30pm from the Chapel of Moore Family Funeral Home in Newtown, OH with Rev. Raymond Offett officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Flag Springs Cemetery in Newtown, OH.
