Arthur Stricker

Arthur J Stricker, age 86, passed away peacefully at his residence Thursday, June 12, 2025.

Proceeded in death by his loving wife, Carolyn Stricker, his parents, Joe and Dorothy Stricker, stepdaughter Cindy Powell and stepson Bobby Barger.

At a young age Art had a dream. With the help of his dad Joe, he built a successful family business, Stricker Auto Parts. His hard work and determination grew the business into a local name well known across many states.

Art, (smoke) as he was known by many of his friends, enjoyed racing cars with his brother Joe, hunting, trapshooting, fishing, and playing cards with family and friends.

He is survived by-stepdaughter Sue (Garry) Creamer, brothers Joseph (Beverly) Stricker, John (Cathy) Stricker, and grandchildren Brad, Gregg (Jen), Kevin Creamer, Trisha (Ryan) Creamer-Whitecotton, Patrick (Cassie) Hodge, Amy and Jamie Barger. Also 13 great grandchildren and several nieces nephews, and many friends.

A time for visitation will take place Thursday, June 19th, 2025, from 12pm to 1:30pm, at Moore Family Funeral Homes - Batavia - 225 Spring St. Batavia, OH 45103. Funeral service following. Burial to take place at St. Louis Cemetery, Owensville, OH.

He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
