Bonney Elliott

Bonney Jo Elliott (nee Blanchard), 73, of Milford, OH, passed away on September 25, 2023. She was born on October 9, 1949, in Cincinnati, OH to James and Minnie Blanchard.

Bonney is survived by her daughter, Julie Edwards and son in law Will Edwards; Grandson Nathan Johnson; Granddaughter Sara Johnson; Brothers: Charlie Morrow and Rick (Barb) Blanchard, and she will be dearly missed by a host of other family members and friends.

Bonney had the soul of a gypsy and the heart of a hippie, with her love for Janice Joplin and all things tie-dyed. She will be remembered by her free spirit and the love for her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She loved to attend wrestling events with her grandson Nathan and dancing and acting silly with her granddaughter Sara, they were the light of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cherished every moment with them. Bonney retired from Jewish Hospital in 2014, she had a passion for taking care of her patients and continued to provide home care for seniors after retirement. Many would refer to Bonney as feisty natured and she was proud to live up to that, she firmly believed in defying the standard norms of society and living for the happiness of yourself and family instead.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at ByGollys Milford, OH for all who wish to celebrate Bonney and honor her memory.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Bonney's name to SEM Villa in Milford, OH.
