Brenda K. Newkirk

NEWTOWN - Brenda K. Newkirk, age 83, passed away on October 12, 2026. She was born on November 26, 1942, to the late John T. and Helen (nee Fuguate) Miller. Brenda was the devoted wife of the late Samuel D. Newkirk; loving mother of Margaret (Leroy) Tunstall and the late Tracy Jenkins; cherished grandmother of Randela, Leanna, Megan, Andrea, Brooke, and Tara; great-grandmother of 14 great-grandchildren; great-great grandmother of 2 great-great grandchildren; and dear sister of Julia Hensley, Teresa Caudill, the late Jerry Miller, and the late Gregory Miller.

Brenda loved flowers, especially indoor gardening, she liked reading as well. Her greatest passions in life were her family and being a caretaker. Brenda will be remembered as being a mother and grandmother to many. 

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 10AM until 11AM funeral service at Moore Family Funeral Homes - Newtown - 6708 Main Street, Newtown, Ohio 45244. Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Brenda's honor may be made to the American Cancer Society.
