MILFORD - Catherine Cecilia Gerbus, age 87, passed away on March 19, 2025. She was born on July 29, 1937, to the late Henry E. and Catherine A. Bell. Catherine was the devoted wife of the late Jack O'Rourke and the late Joseph F. Gerbus; loving mother of Patricia (Brad) Smith, Jack (Meg) O'Rourke, Michael (Martha) O'Rourke, Tim (the late Kellie) O'Rourke, and Casey (Shonda) O'Rourke; step mother of Mary Ann (Robert) McAdams, James Gerbus, John (Angie) Gerbus, Joseph (Sherry) Gerbus, and the late Gerard Gerbus; and cherished grandmother of Megan (Kyle), Aaron (Sara), Kaitlyn (Sam), Nichole (B), Chad (Jen), Andrew (Leia), Shane, Kyle (Kourtney), Emily (Landen), Kristy (Rickie), JT, Matt (Lacey), Mark (Kelsey), Maggie (Kenny), Keegan (Emilee), Nick, Grant (Sarah), Casey, and the late Sean (surviving Kelly); step-grandmother of Allison (Dave), Sarah, Justin, Jenna, Jacob, Joey, Jayden, Jordan, Alando, Jaymar; great-grandmother of Audrey, Claire, Jake, Addison, Benjamin, Maisie, Eleanor, James, Amelia, Nora, Vera, Elizabeth, Joseph, Bradley, Flynn, Kyler, Kenna, Paislee, Lucas, Liam, Cayden, Bentley, Gaven, Kalee, Cody, Savannah, Aerie, Emery, Ivy, Mackenzie, Bella, Max, Sean, Marie, Zander, Kingslee, Max, Alizyah; and great-great grandmother of Waylon.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, March 24, 2025 at St. Veronica Catholic Church from 10AM until 11AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Catherine's honor may directed to the American Heart Association.
