Chad E. Barkman

AMELIA - Chad E. Barkman, age 55, passed away on December 13, 2025. He was born on July 19, 1970, to the late Ira "Sonny" Barkman, Jr., and surviving Lana Barkman (nee Harnden). Chad was the loving father of Lucy Barkman and Kimber Barkman; dear brother of Brett Barkman; cherished uncle of Jenna Barkman, Ella Barkman, and Maya Barkman. He is additionally survived by his former wife LeeAnn Eakins. Chad was an adventurous spirit and enjoyed kayaking, biking, and volleyball. He was known for getting people around him to play all sorts of games, and his friends fondly say that he was "everyone's brother." Chad especially loved the time he was able to spend with his family and friends. 

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 9AM until 11AM. With a Memorial Service beginning at 11AM at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection. 

Chad always dreamed of Lucy & Kimbers’ bright futures. The family asks that his wish to support the girls’ education be continued.
