Charles Keith

Charles B. Keith, age 83, passed away April 3, 2023. Born April 15, 1939 in Williamsburg, Ky to Clarence and Martha (nee Taylor) Keith. Loving husband of Alice (nee Schoem) Keith and previously the late Janet Martin, mother of his children. Beloved Father of Don Keith, Kim Mospen, James Hoefler, and the late Charles Keith Jr. Cherished brother of Tom, Kenneth, James, and David Keith, Wanda Apgar, Effie Keith, Shirley Apgar, Kathryn Michels, and Marsha (Maurry) Alsip. Proceeded by his siblings Clarence (Wade), Eugene (Jerry), Larry, Steven, Betty Levett, and Helen Lesitner. Also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren, and numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, In-Laws, and Friends. 

Charles is described by his family as "the glue that held the family together." Not only in a financial sense, as he was an accountant his whole life and had his own Tax Service Business the last few years, but as a great Husband, Father, Uncle, and Grandpa. He was trickster, keeping everyone their feet. He was also very matter of fact. He wasn't afraid to speak his mind, and defend his beliefs, but also tried very hard to keep things civil. When he got good at using the Internet, he took up a passion of genealogy, researching his family, where everyone came from, and keeping as many records as he could of his families heritage and legacy. 

Visitation will take place Wednesday, April 12th, 2023 from 10am to 12pm, at Moore Family Funeral Homes, 225 Spring St. Batavia, OH 45103. Funeral Service to follow with burial around 1:30pm at Olive Branch Cemetery.
