Charles Anthony Raisor

Charles A. Raisor, "Tony", age 65 of Anderson Township, passed away September 17, 2026. Born on May 6, 1961 in Pleasureville, KY to Nadine Adams and the late Charles M. Raisor. Beloved husband of Shari Raisor (nee Brown), devoted father of Sarah Schraer (Kevin), Austin (Anne) Raisor and Hunter (Kyle) Blaha. Proud grandfather, "Tone-Tone", of Kaitlin, Kelsey and Karlie Schraer, Charlie Anne and Beckett Raisor and Thomas Anthony Blaha. Dear brother of Dale (Natasha) Adams and Steve (Allison) Adams, brother Jeffrey S. Raisor and the late James Stephen Clausing.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephew and step mother Linda Sue Raisor.

He was also preceded in death by his step father Lawrence E. Adams.

He was rooted in his faith community where he met Shari in youth group in ninth grade. He faithfully served and supported his church for over 50 Years as it transitioned from Salem United Methodist to Anderson Hills @Salem to Freedom City Church.

From mowing the grass as a teenager to helping maintain the church grounds, he quietly took care of unfinished building and grounds projects without ever seeking recognition. He was dedicated to serving his church throughout his life. In addition, he faithfully supported his wife, Shari, as she ran the Celebrate Recovery Ministry at FCC each week.

He was also active in the ARRM men's group at the companion church, Anderson Hills Church. There he served the needs of many, whether it was assembling furniture, installing fences, fixing equipment or planting and picking vegetables for the local food pantry. He was always eager to assist wherever he could.

As a child Tony learned to hunt, fish, and work tobacco fields from his maternal grandfather and uncles. Those early experiences fostered a lifelong love of the outdoors, and he became an avid outdoorsman from a young age. He enjoyed shooting, hunting, fishing and being outside in God's creation.

Tony graduated from Anderson HS in 1979. He participated in choir, baseball, water polo and diving. He was a strong athlete and continued his athletics throughout adulthood in baseball, softball, and weightlifting, both participating and coaching. He also began honing his mechanical skills under his teacher/mentor Jerry Rheinfrank in automotive shop during his junior and senior years. There he began rebuilding his first project car, a 1963 Corvette, from engine to frame.

Tony was a devoted father and grandfather who showed his love with his presence. He supported all of his children and grandchildren over the years. Whether it was softball, soccer, baseball, football or school performances, he was there in attendance. He loved to teach and used that skill as he helped coach his son's baseball and football teams. He would often show up at practices just to quietly watch from the sidelines. As a grandfather, affectionately known as "Tone-Tone", he treasured time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed reading the newspaper with them (the Garfield comic was a favorite). He also enjoyed teaching them about gardening and just sharing life in general. He was always willing to help with them any chance he got. Whether it was a game, a practice, a performance or simply spending time together, Tony made sure his family knew they could count on him to be there.

September 13, 2026 Tony celebrated both 40 years of marriage and 40 years of establishing and running Raisor Heating and Air Conditioning. He promptly and honestly served numerous customers throughout the years, many of whom became life long friends. His dedication to his customers and his craft earned him the business of his customers' next generations. He always put others ahead of himself. He hated to say no to a customer and would often add a call late at night or on a holiday (even Christmas Day) to make sure they were comfortable regardless of his needs at the time.

His gracious heart was even displayed in his last few days as he thanked each person that served him at The Christ Hospital-often with an extended hand asking for a handshake. He would assure them that he was OK because "Jesus knows my name. "

His request to all was that even in the midst of his pain and difficult diagnosis that they greet him with a smile, not a sad face. He would quip, "Smile, even if it makes your face crack", which would produce a smile and lighten the mood for all.

He will be missed by his family, friends, business family, church family and the Greater Cincinnati community he served for so many years. His legacy of service will continue on through Raisor Heating & Air, as his son Austin Raisor, carries on the business and the commitment to the community that meant so much to him.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday October 3, 2026 at 1pm. Please join us after the service for visitation and a fellowship meal until 5pm.
