Clay Lee Hess

NEWTOWN - Clay Lee Hess was born June 1, 1967 and passed away at the age of 59 on August 11, 2026. Loving son of Judith L. Hess and the late Larry J. Hess. He loved riding his Harleys with friends and family. Clay enjoyed making wood burning pictures and bird houses. He also loved his dog Tater, fishing, and racing motorcycles. He was a first place winner for 7 years in a row in the mini-class demolition derby at the Clermont County Fair. Clay is survived by his mother Judith Hess; son Justin; brothers Larry and Tracy; wife Wendy (Wade) Hess; and step children Kyle Wade, and Kristen Plogman; and his granddaughter Jocelyn Hess. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other family members. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 13, 2026 from 12 noon until 6 PM at the Southern Ohio Coon Hunter's Club, 4653 Elmwood Road, Batavia, Ohio 45103. Donations are preferred to the family to help with costs.
