Damian was honestly th e greatest person I've even met he made me get out of my comfort zone to do new things we were as close as brothers i remember walking in to the hallways to my locker in the morning and he would always be there when I get there an give me a hug. No one put as big as a smile on my face bedside him I know this late but I need time to recover I am still recovery. I remember the last day of school sophomore year we stayed after school instead of leaving early to help teachers move their stuff i remember when he ask if can have my sandwich because he didn't have money so I gave him the sandwich an milk an i just ate an Apple if there was one thing me an Damian did together we made sure people smiled everyday I love you Damian fly high bro I miss you

It has been a while since I have seen Damian. I went to school with him when I was a freshman. Every morning I'd wake up and not wanna go to school. But when I got there Damian always had a big smile on his face. He always made me laugh. He always made my day so much better. We will miss you Damian. It makes me so sad that you are gone. You will be in our hearts forever and always. We love you Damian

I was Damians Navy JROTC teacher at Scarlet Oaks. What impressed me most about Damian was his maturity level, and desire to excel in whatever challenge he was presented with. A student with unlimited potential! God Bless the family and friends of Damian Schneider. Respectfully, Senior Chief David A. McDermott, US Navy (Ret.) Scarlet Oaks Navy JROTC Teacher

We helped at a boy scout camp together. He helped with the insects part if I remember right and I helped with one group of boy scouts. He easily became one of my friends there with a few others that I still speak to. I miss him. I wish heaven did have visiting hours... I would visit 3 people now.

I remember Damian back in 8th grade, we talked fairly often. He was a great guy, good friend and had an amazing personality. My condolences to the family. I send my prayers to you and all who are suffering from this great tragedy.

I was Damian's English teacher for his junior year at Scarlet Oaks. He was an extremely dedicated student who went above and beyond expectations. He will be truly missed. I remember his determination to maintain over a 100% at all times, and he would even work ahead if possible. He helped others, he was friendly, and could maintain good conversation with myself and his peers and he will forever be remembered. He was even working on writing a book, which I'm not sure many knew about. He was very far into it at the end of the school year, and he had big plans for himself. My deepest condolences to his family and close friends. -Mrs. Dickinson
