BATAVIA TOWNSHIP - Elaine H. Didday (nee Snider) wife of the late Herman "Jack" Didday. Loving mother of Robin Eakle (Damon), Connie Jennings (Edward), Herman "Clark" Didday (Kathy), Nancy Neff, and the late Linda Didday and Samuel Didday. Daughter of the late Thornton and Ruth (nee Noertker) Snider. Sister of the late Melvin Snider. Cherished grandmother of 16, great- grandmother of 32, and great-great-grandmother of 2.

Elaine was a lifelong member of Olive Branch United Methodist Church later becoming Emmanuel UMC..All her life she loved to sew and make crafts being involved in 4-H and using her college education in home economics to substitute teach. She did extensive research in genealogy for both sides of her family, her home community of Goshen and her local community of Olive Branch. She was actively involved with the Goshen Township Historical Society where her passion was to locate civil war soldiers' graves and have markers placed on them. She was recognized for her leadership by Goshen Township. This is her favorite quote: " The heritage of the past is the seed that brings forth the harvest of the future. "

Family will receive friends Friday, March 27, 2026 from 10 am until 11:30 am visitation, service to follow: Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 4312 Amelia-Olive Branch Rd,.Batavia, Ohio 45103. Internment : Olive-Branch Cemetery. Please join the family for a luncheon and continued fellowship at the church social hall.
