Elizabeth V Lammers

Elizabeth Virginia “Betty” Lammers, wife of the late Daniel Edward Lammers and daughter of the late John and Hermina Dunn, passed away peacefully on September 22 at the age of 94. She is survived by her five children and their spouses - Donna and George Deimling of Mt Washington, Pat and Dana Lammers of Dillonvale, Jackie and Ron Robinson of Sydney Australia, Dan and Ginny Lammers of Summerside and Lori and Jim Reed of Russellville; by her beloved sister, Alice “Babe” Wood of Fairfax; by 17 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 1 great, great granddaughter; and by her loving cousins, nieces and nephew. Preceding her in death, were her brother Will Dunn, her sister Alberta "Sis" Williams and Harry "Unc" Schnirring who was like a brother to her. The family wishes to express our sincere appreciation to the caring professional staff of Vitas and Adams County Manor for the support they gave our mother and our family during the final chapter of our mother’s life. A visitation and funeral service will be held at the Moore Family Funeral Home, 225 Spring Street, Batavia 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Friday, September 29. A brief burial service will be held at the Linwood Cemetery in Russellville at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 30. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tender Mercies or to the charity of your choice in memory of mom. Although our loss is enormous, we are at peace now that mom is at peace.
