UNION TOWNSHIP - Eugene L. Binkley, age 69, passed away on July 26, 2026. He was born on July 31, 1956, to the late Lester and Bertha (nee Horner) Binkley. Eugene was the devoted husband of Jean (nee Taylor) Binkley; loving father of David L. Hartley, Jr.; cherished grandfather of David "JJ" Hartley III and Victoria "Tori" L. Hartley; and dear brother of Claude, Bonnie, Charlene, Dennis, and the late Georgia, and late Emily.
Eugene loved airplanes. He enjoyed slot cars, Hotwheels, models, road trips, shooting, NASCAR, and watching television, especially Law & Order and Bones. His greatest joy was his family.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 10AM until 11AM funeral service at Moore Family Funeral Homes - 225 Spring Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103. Interment will follow at Williamsburg Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Eugene's honor may be made to the American Stroke Society.
