Florence Gibbs

BATAVIA - Florence Gibbs, age 88, passed away on January 10, 2026. She was born on June 10, 1937, to the late Bailey and Lucille (nee Webb) Tudor. Florence was the devoted wife of the late Kenneth Gibbs; loving mother of Connie Gibbs, Duane (Sue) Gibbs, Lori Boswell, Brian (Lindsay) Gibbs, Missy McRoy, and Eileen Sipple; cherished grandmother of Jeremy, Brandon, Jordan, DJ, Andrew, Nick, Kyle, Morgan, MaKenna, Cameron, Evan, Hope, Faith, Anna, Erin, Travis, Kayla, and Abby; great-grandmother of Emmett, Myles, Silas, Grayson, Hudson, Kenny, Gracie, Max, Logan, Noah, JoJo, Harper, Paxton, Teagan, Ryder, Colt, Jett, and three on the way; and dear sister of 12 siblings.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 5PM-8PM at Moore Family Funeral Homes - 225 Spring Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103. A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 10AM at the Batavia First Presbyterian Church - 293 North Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103. Interment will follow at Batavia Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in Florence's honor be made to Batavia First Presbyterian Church or Batavia VFW Post 3954.
