Gail Anne (Hogue) Coleman, age 73, of Newtown, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026. Gail was born on June 6, 1952, to the late Shirley Lee Hogue and Ruth (McGuffey) Hogue. Gail was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Garry A. Coleman. She is survived by her two daughters, Sondra (Roger) Dawson and Melissa (Steve) Jasper; her cherished grandchildren, Tyler Coleman, Ryan (Angelika) Dawson, and Luke and Jake Jasper; her brother, Rick (Laurie) Hogue; and her sister, Linda Reaves, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Gail dedicated many years of her career working in the payroll department at Cincinnati Bell. After leaving the workforce, she devoted her time to what mattered most to her-her family. Being a mother and grandmother was the role she cherished above all else.
Gail had a love for reading, especially romance novels, and enjoyed going on family vacations and spending her free time visiting the casino. More than anything, she treasured the moments spent with her daughters and her four grandsons, who brought immense joy and pride to her life.
Known for her warm and generous spirit, Gail never met a stranger. She had a natural way of making people feel welcome and cared for. Her kindness, compassion, and willingness to help anyone in need will be remembered by all who knew her. She was a deeply loving and devoted mother and grandmother whose presence will be greatly missed.
A memorial service to celebrate Gail's life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Hospice of Cincinnati in Gail's memory.
