Loving Father of the late Jim Oswald, Diana Flack, the late Jerri Lynn Harrison, Jodi Couch (Jerry Gray), and Dan (Brenda) Wellman. Son of the late Edward Charles and Josephine F. (nee Neutzling) Wellman. Brother of the late Jack Wellman, the late Joan Merice, Carol Lane, and the late Ruth Sanderfer. Grandfather of Holly (Geoff), Amanda, Kelly, Keri (Dannie), Jim, Shannon (Josh), Sam (Ashley), Tyler (Chloe), Austin (Elyssia), Mariah (Gabe), Lindsey, and the late Bobby Couch. Great-Grandfather of Dylan, Tori, Kylley, Sebastian, Corbin, Cole, Coraline, Bowie, Lincoln, Hayes, Hudson, and Harlin. March 24, 2026, age 90.

Family will receive friends 5 - 8 pm Tuesday, March 31, 2026, and again 9 am until 11 am service Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the Moore Family Funeral Home - 6708 Main St. Newtown, Ohio 45244. Interment at Batavia Union Cemetery.
