Gladys S Preyer

Gladys S. Preyer (nee Wildman), a lifelong resident of Anderson Twp, passed away on July 9, 2026, at age 88. Gladys loved to visit New Richmond, walk along the river, and enjoy a meal or dessert at Front St Café. She loved car rides through the countryside and taking the ferry across to Maysville.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ed (July 9th,2005). and her beautiful daughter Cindy (2012), and many friends. 

Gladys leaves behind her loving children, Cheryl Calvert (Jeff), Judy Merz (Daniel), Pam Preyer, and Eddie Preyer (Susan). Dear grandmother of Jake Calvert, Josh (Christy) Calvert, Shannon (Irish) Wilkin, Leslie (Brandon) Vance, Kaitlin (Erik) Clyburn, Nicole Mack, Zach Preyer and five great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 16 from 10:00 - 11:00am at Moore Family Funeral Homes located at 6708 Main Street, Newtown, OH 45244 (www.moorefamilyfuneralhomes.com), immediately followed by the funeral service to be held from 11:00 - 12:00. Burial (family only) will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park, 10209 Plainfield Rd., Blue Ash.
