Grace M. Copia

Grace M. Copia (Hepp) resident of Union Township, Cincinnati, OH went to be
with the Lord on January 23, 2022 at the age of 91.

Grace was born on April 5, 1930 in Chicago, IL. Devoted wife of 70 years to the late Sam F. Copia. Loving mother of Catherine R. (Thomas) Pedigo, Pamela A. (Michael) Stabile, David A.(JoJo) Copia, Janet G. Copia and the late Joseph S. Copia (2020). Cherished grandmother of Brian, Cara, Sara, Jessica, Christina, Cicely, Nicolas, Samantha Grace, Emily, and the late Jordan. She was a great grandmother of 12 and had numerous nieces and nephews.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family via Zoom.

One of her favorite and most often quoted scripture verses was Psalm 23:
“Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need! He lets me rest in meadow grass and leads me beside the quiet streams. He gives me new strength. He helps me do what honors Him the most. Even when walking through the dark valley of death I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me, guarding, guiding all the way. You provide delicious food for me in the presence of my enemies. You have welcomed me as your guest; blessings overflow! Your goodness and unfailing kindness shall be with me all of
my life, and afterwards I will live with you forever in our home.”

Grace was a long time member and leader of Bible Study Fellowship beginning in 1989.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to St. Jude’s Children
Hospital in Grace’s name.

Grace-you found me on FB & I looked forward to your words always. Your mind was sharp, your memories were fun, you helped me struggling with a mentally sick son & you just always made my day. I didn't ask you enough before you left on your last journey. Wish I could still see your words when I need them.
Selfishly I wish I had you for a while more
Your with Sam, your great love that you miss no more

I will miss my sweet Auntie Grace and treasure the many memories we made together. She was a wonderful person and had a great sense of humor. She is at peace now in the loving arms of her Father and dancing in the sun with the love of her life, Sam❤️🙏

She was the most precious mom anyone could have had. As the oldest child, I always felt like she was my best friend. SO many wonderful memories of mom still go all the way back to my childhood. I will always remember how she gave me the gift of loving to read, with both of us reading a book at the same time - her on the couch, and me right next to her and lots of playing cards together and how she would take me all alone to shop for clothes as a gawky teen. Really tried to boost my self-esteem, which I needed so much! They truly are precious memories to me. She always made me feel special.... I am so thankful that I KNOW she is in heaven with Jesus, NO DOUBT!! She loved all of us kids SO much! Imagine raising 5 children and making us ALL feel so special! That is the tribute I want to give her. A blessed mom whom we will all miss so much! Thanks, mom, for all the love and support you gave me throughout my life. I hope that Jesus lets you hear all the love I have for you. You will always be in my heart & mind until the day I see you again in heaven!
