I have but one picture of Mac and really didn't get much opportunity to spend time with him or get to truly know him but I have nothing but love for him. I knew from day one he and my mother would get married and I was not wrong. Different personalities but so perfectly suited for each other and they built a great life together, raised a good daughter together (Stephanie). We met when I was just 16 years old and though I could not have been an easy person to live with, Mac never had a cross word for me. Later, when he and my mother had temporary custody of my two boys and I gave him even MORE reason to dislike me, he still said nothing harsh. Mac just did what Mac did, quietly supporting my mother in what she felt she had to do and loved my kids like they were his own grandkids. Mac, thank you for the life and love you gave to my mother. It was a beautiful Second Act. I'm so very, very sorry this had to be the conclusion in this world but in my heart I have to believe you will be together again in the next.

I dont have a lot of pictures but I do have some. One was several years ago, the other was Christmas Day 2019. Who knew so much could change in a year. Thank you Mac for loving my mother and spoiling her all these years. Thank you for bringing her over 25 years of happiness and laughs. Thank you for showing what a kind and loving man really looks like. I still cant believe youre gone. I can still hear your voice in my head, laughing and teasing Mom. I am thankful you are no longer in pain but the unfairness of this all takes ones breath away. We love you.
