Martha and family, we are so sorry to hear of Herschel's passing. We always enjoyed our conversations with you and Herschel. My dad (Ward L.) had a lot of respect for him and enjoyed working with him at Valley View. May God wrap His loving arms around your family and give you peace. Krista and Jim Storms

Martha, Katherine and Linda, Very sad to hear of Herschel's passing. He was a great friend and colleague of mine at Valley View. When he was Superintendent at Valley View I had the good fortune of working side by side with him in the Central Office as his assistant for 10 great years. He was an excellent mentor, as I learned plenty about being an administrator from him. He loved those KY Wildcats, and we enjoyed several outings on the golf course over the years. We've lost a good man, may he RIP, and I will keep you all and your family in my prayers during this difficult time. Sincerely, Bob Swanson (Mr.Snow)

My deepest condolences on the passing of this wonderful man. Aunt Martha and family, we will keep you in prayer during this difficult time. Uncle Herschel was such a good brother to my grandfather, his brother Francis Gil Cornn. I will remember him always. Much love, Lisa Godwin

Mr. Cornn was the superintendent of Valley View schools when he hired me 30 years ago. I was a mother of 3--an older candidate, but he helped me fulfill my dream of becoming a teacher! He would visit my classes, and always knelt down to talk to my Kindergarteners. He was so caring and loving--he truly loved being a part of our schools! I will miss him a lot! He was a good and faithful servant to our God!
