COX, James Lewis Sr. October 13, 2022 at the age of 95 resident of Union Township was born October 5, 1927 in Russellville, Ohio to his parents the late William Henry and Bessie Belle (nee Neu) Cox. Devoted husband of the late Anna Belle (nee Wiederhold) Cox for 40 years and Juanita B. (nee Keeling) Cox for 23 years. Loving Father of Diana Dickinson, Brenda Keller, Jim (Melodie) & Bill (Deborah) Cox. Step-Father of Steve & Mitchell Carlson. Preceeded in death by sisters Anna Atwell and Emma Ratchford. Also survived by numerous grand & great & great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends for a visitation Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 5-7 PM, service Friday, October 21, 2022 at 11 AM at Moore Family Funeral Home 225 Spring St. Batavia. Interment Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to donor's choice. Jim retired from Container Corporation after 47 years. He especially loved gardening, card playing and stamp collecting.
