I attended Holy Trinity Church in Batavia growing up. I fondly remember Jim using his beautiful voice as a cantor during many masses. Jim always had a smile for everyone and was so kind. May you rest in sweet heavenly peace, Jim. God Bless you and keep you.

Jim and I were never best Buddies in grade school or high school, but I always respected him and admired him for his spirit, energy, spark and spunk. His approach to young life was different than mine -- though I'd be pressed to further explain that assertion. Jim involved himself in living and learning with a relish that puzzled and probably intimidated me. I vividly recall him trying to sell me on the "Junior Achievement Program". He was aggressively pursuing his young life -- enriching his experiences -- and just flat out "going for it"! I was awed and impressed, but he was in a league beyond my grasp. To me, Jim was easy to know and easier to like. His passing saddens me deeply. Tom Schroot

Met Jim when he married Jane Mueller, a friend thru school, scouting and afterwards. He was always a delight, especially at the reunions. Easy to talk with and had a great smile. So sorry Jane and her family lost him so early...many good memories. Carol Reuter Lindeman, Class of 1959 MHHS

Beth was Sister Brown and I was Carol Browner. She was such a nice teacher, she had me pass out cupcakes to all of the students. Jimmy came in to sit down and Beth yelled, "Don't sit on the cupcakes!" We had a great imagination....made Jim look twice before he sat down.

When Jimmy was in the Navy, in the middle of the night or anytime if you heard, "Jimmy's Home", you ran!

Jimmy was in high school and I was a toddler. He got home from school early because it was final exams and he had a car to drive home. He took me with him to Tresler's huge pond. He ice skated and pulled me on the ice with a sled. Thanks Jimmy!! Love You Always! Colleen
