James Sturgill

STURGILL, James M. "Jim" resident of Amelia, passed away in Anderson, OH April 20, 2023 at the age of 54. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on March 10, 1969 to his late loving parents Ralph H. and Ealvdean (nee Smith) Sturgill.  Devoted husband to his loving wife of 30 years, Melissa Sue (nee Tam) Sturgill.  Brother of Barbara Woodall, Herbert Sturgill, Helen Brunton, Beverly McCorkle and the late Randy Sturgill and George J. Jr. Hubbard.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 at American Outpost Armory.  Jim, with his wife Melissa, owned and operated American Outpost Armory for 10 years.  While attending college, Jim met the love of his life, Melissa.  He will be missed by many loving family, friends and many customers too.
