Janice Meranda

Meranda, Janice Margene, of Batavia, Ohio, passed away on September 27th, 2023, at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, parents Floyd and Anabel Bowen and siblings, Edwin, Kenneth, Mary, Grace, Ruth, and Helen. She was the loving mother of Johnny Lee Meranda and Tina Townsend, the devoted grandmother “Marker” of Nate (Hannah) Townsend. She is survived by her beloved sister Madge, brother-in-law Larry “Poncho” (Jeralyn) Meranda, Carl Meranda, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends whom she loved dearly.

Margene spent many years as a Deputy Clerk at the Clermont County Auditor's Office, making many friends there. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with close family and friends. Margene was a member of Love and Faith Christian Fellowship and Solid Rock Church. She was also a member of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries. Margene was a sweet and loving person who never met a stranger. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends Monday, October 2nd, at 10:00 AM at Moore Family Funeral Homes - 225 Spring Street, Batavia, OH, 45103. Funeral service begins at 12:00 PM with burial at Mt. Orab cemetery to follow.
