Jerry S. Dalton

Dalton, Jerry "Joe" Snowten, resident of Amelia, was born in 1938 to Shirley "Doc" and Celia. He was preceded in death by his beloved brothers Thomas and David. He is survived by Diana Didday Dalton, his loving wife of 62 years. He has four children: Melodie (Randy) Walters, Scott (Barb) Dalton, Jerald (Jeanne) Dalton and Jody (Joe) Guenther. Also survived by 11 grandchildren: Melinda, Jeremy, Ryan, Erica, Steve, Elizabeth, Scottie, Jacob, Jordan, Joseph and Andrew and 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Vitas Hospice and/or Emmanuel United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends beginning at 10 AM for a Celebration of Life Memorial Saturday, May 19 at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 4312 Amelia-Olive Branch Road, Batavia. Joe worked at Cincinnati Mill for 37 years as a foreman. He was a longtime member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church and a member of the Mt. Carmel Social Club.
