The memories of Joan that most stand out in my mind are the care she took with her yard and landscaping, and how devoted she was to her Grandchildren and their friends. My kids spent days on end in Joan's house and backyard playing with Jared and Caitlin. I know that they were touched by her caring and open hospitality, and that this will remain with them always.

I always called her my second wife. Jimmy and her double dated with my future wife Wilma and the rest is history. Joan always had a cup of coffee for me. A sweet dear lady that I will truly miss. Great memories

We knew Joan best as a wonderful neighbor and devoted grandmother. Her home was always so warm and inviting, and everyone loved attending her grandchildren's birthday parties and other events. In the summer, she was always sitting on the front porch watching her grandchildren play, and she always welcomed others to sit with her. She was always warm and positive and knew how to make people feel comfortable. She will be sorely missed. Becky Brewer, Nick Mercier, Isabelle Mercier

Some of the best memories of my teenage years are of Joan and our friendship. She was a true friend and we had some wonderful times together. She will never be forgotten. Deepest sympathy for all her family.
