John Vernon Burns

WILLIAMSBURG - Johnny "John" Vernon Burns, age 71, passed away on April 13, 2024. He was born on April 12, 1953, to the late Jack and Barbara (nee Linville) Burns. John was devoted husband of Linda Burns (nee Jamison); cherished father of Johnathan Burns, Nathan (Dana Redd) Burns, Jennifer (David) Hall, and Brian (Tiffany) Burton; beloved grandfather of 13 grandchildren, and great-grandfather of 1 great-grandchild; and dear brother of Lola (Jeff) Royalty, Katrina (Mike) Jenkins, Regina (Rick) Sharp, the late Jack Allyn Burns, and the late Timothy Burns. Additionally, John is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

John was a true family man, and was happiest when his family was all together in one place. He enjoyed politics, wrestling, football, basketball, and especially loved March Madness. 

Friends and family may visit on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 12PM until 1PM funeral service at Moore Family Funeral Homes - 225 Spring Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution's in John's honor may be sent to the Department of Veteran's Affairs.
