Kathleen Mounce

Kathleen Crystal Mounce, age 42, passed unexpectedly on January 22, 2023. Born May 28, 1980, to Dan and Elizabeth McQuesten in Yokosuka, Japan while Dan was stationed at the US Naval Base. Kathleen is survived by her husband Jeremy Richard Mounce, whom she married in August of 1999. Loving Mother of Justin Andrew Alan (Tristan Coral) Mounce, Michael Lawrence (Shelby Ann Wilmoth) Mounce, Kayla Brianna (Stephan Gean Willams) Mounce, Nichole Hope (Seth Steven Cann) Mounce, and Kayla's best friend, Audrey Parrish who the family basically adopted. Cherished Sister to Joey McQuesten, Shannon Schulz, Jessie McQuesten, Danny McQuesten, and April McQuesten. Grandma to Edward Alexander Mounce, Elena Jade Mounce, Addalyn Mae Cann, and Corbyn Steven Cann. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

Kathleen was a mother thru and thru. She had the biggest heart you would ever see and was somehow always able to turn the other cheek and forgive everyone around her. She had nicknames for everybody, wrote many poems about all aspects of life, and the family will miss all her crocheting projects she would make for them all. She leaves behind a mountain of yarn for the family to remember her by. 

Visitation will be held Friday, January 27th, 2023, between 6pm and 7pm at the Moore Family Funeral Home, 6708 Main St. Newtown, OH 45244. Funeral Service will follow at 7pm. Final disposition will take place at the convenience of the family.
