Kim Myers

September 13, 1950 — October 24, 2025

Kim Lien Myers passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025, with her beloved daughters by her side. She was born on September 13, 1950, in Da Nang, Vietnam.

Kim is survived by her two daughters, Lyann McFarland and Melissa Davie (Matthew Davie), and by her nine cherished grandchildren: Taylor Hansel (Dylan Diss), Evan Hansel, Lauren Hansel (Johnathan Miller), Casey McFarland, Caitlyn McFarland, Chayse McFarland, Chance McFarland, Hazel Davie, and Clark Davie. She also leaves behind six great-grandchildren.

Kim dedicated her life to caring for others. For many years, she lovingly ran an in-home daycare, nurturing countless children who remained dear to her heart. Her compassion extended deeply to her own family-especially her grandchildren-whom she treasured with endless love.

Known for her warm and generous spirit, Kim had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. She was a talented cook who found joy in gathering people around the table, sharing delicious meals, laughter, and connection. She also had a deep appreciation for art and flowers and made friends wherever she went with her kind heart and bright smile.

Kim's love for her family and friends was boundless, and her gentle presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no formal service. Family and friends are invited to honor Kim in their own meaningful way and are encouraged to share their fondest memories with her family. An intimate celebration of life will be held in the months to come.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Memory of Kim to NAMI (The National Alliance on Mental Illness) at https://donate.nami.org/fundraiser/6791562
