Boo-boo - I like to think that nickname annoyed you..........like you enjoyed annoying me. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure you saw it as a sign of affection. The long suffering Jay says he will miss his Facebook ally and I will miss your smart ass comments about my ankles, my sister and your hairy......back. The world is a lot less smart and less articulate without you in it. xoxoxo Gibson

I was so sorry to hear about Leos passing, and my prayers go out to his family in this time of grief and loss. This is so impossibly sad; he was way too young! Leo and I were friends in high school through the swim team, close during the time he was a senior and I was a sophomore. But then of course he went away to the Navy, and though we saw each other a few times after that, we flowed with our different life-paths. I did see Leo a number of years ago, ten or less, when we reunited via Facebook, and I can tell you that his love for his wife and daughter were the most important things in the world. Judging by the pictures I saw, the granddaughter was also a special gift from heaven, and I hope she will remember him as I do: Leo was always so much fun, pushing the bounds of dreams and imagination.

So sorry to hear about Lenny passing. He was one of the good guys! His quick dry wit will surely be missed. May the memory of him and all he meant to you give you strength and bring you comfort. Much love to Penny, Jessica, Cora and David. Love, Susan (Templeton) Vorderbrueggen

I've been friends with Leonard since high school. I have lots of fond memories, but what warms my heart most is remembering that he was really my sister Laurie' s friend. I was drawn to him immediately, and followed him around some. Just an annoying little sister at first, but over the years we became friends too. Sadly, we lost touch, and then Facebook. Happily, we did reconnect the last few years, and I was able to hear about his lovely family. Penny, Jessica and Cora. My heart goes out to you, and I hope you will hold each other a little tighter through this difficult time, and love will help you heal.

I first met Leo while we both worked for SST Plastics in the Spring of 1990. Although I left SST in early '92 to return to Active Duty, I have valued the friendship we have maintained the past 26 years. While I'll miss my friend, I'll always cherish the memories of the long and insightful conversations we had during our 12 hour shifts at SST and a friendship that has endured all these years since. RIP Leo, you will truly be missed. Mark

I have known Leonard since junior high school and can honestly say he is one of the few friends I had then and he helped make getting through high school bearable. When I lived in Anderson I would run into him 2-3 times a year and it was always a warm experience. I remember getting him into his first fantasy baseball league and he told me many times how grateful he was. I am glad I could add some joy to his life. His passing is the first in my lifetime of a person I consider a lifelong friend, and I have few of them. my world seems emptier now.
