Lois Jean Bissantz

HILTON HEAD ISLAND - Lois Jean Bissantz, age 96, formerly of Batavia, passed away on May 14, 2025. She was born on March 12, 1929, to the late Donald and Elizabeth (nee Hunt) Jamieson. Lois was the beloved wife of the late Neal Bissantz; cherished mother of Cathleen (Homer) Brown and the late Connie Bissantz; dear sister of the late Richard (Margaret) Jamieson; and aunt of Melissa, Andrew, and Beth.

Lois graduated from Batavia High School, and lived most of her life in Batavia. She loved her husband, her family, and the Lord with all of her heart. Along with her late husband, Lois was a proud member of Batavia Faith United Methodist Church.

Graveside services will be held on May 21, 2025, at 10:30AM, at Batavia Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Batavia Faith United Methodist Church (www.bataviafaithumc.org) or the Pregnancy Center and Clinic of the Low Country (www.pregnancycenterhii.org).
