Lois was an angel on earth, beautiful, thoughtful, and full of kindness in extraordinary ways. We had a son who had multiple disabilities at birth and was hospitalized at Riley much of his one year of life. She often called and asked what she could do. One Sunday she called and asked me what we had scheduled the following week. I told her, and she asked if she could come with me to Riley. Our son had multiple appointments in 3 different clinics and hadn't been doing well at home. I had been wondering for days how I was going to handle all of his equipment and him by myself since my husband had to be in the office to pay the bills, and my girlfriends all had small children too so couldn't go. She was so subtle and quiet but definite in offering to go with me. Not only was she a physical help that day, she was an emotional support too as the doctors decided to rehospitalize him to find out why he still was not sucking at all when they knew he was hunngry. It was a long day, but bearable because of your lovely Mom and sister. I'll never forget her gentle kindness. Suzie Rimstidt, member of St. Mark's
