With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Mahogany Dominique Anthony, who departed this life on September 21, 2026, at the age of 38. Born on May 4, 1988, Mahogany was a cherished daughter, sister, and mother, whose vibrant spirit and love for her family will forever remain in our hearts.
Mahogany is survived by her beloved children, Mykale Samuel Roper, Monica Anthony, Amare Roper, and Ulyssia Anthony, as well as her devoted mother, Anita Anthony, her third sister, Portia C. Anthony, and her grandfather, Dennis Edwards. She is proceeded by her grandmother Portia Anthony-Edwards, and grandfather Benny Anthony. She also held dear the memory of her late sister, Sade Alexandria Anthony-Lewis, whose profound love for family and unwavering faith complemented Mahogany's own spirit.
Throughout her life, Mahogany exemplified strength and compassion. After high school, she joined the US Army, and only was called back from that service to be in service of her family. She took the time she had to help others as a licensed nurse, and was hoping to become a registered nurse practitioner to further help others in a wider capacity.
Funeral services will be held at a future date, with details to be announced, as we come together to celebrate Mahogany's extraordinary life and the cherished memories she created with each of us. Her final resting place will be at Heritage Acres Memorial Sanctuary, 796 Locust Corner Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45245. Please wear shoes suitable for the outdoors.
In this time of grief, we invite all who knew and loved Mahogany to honor her memory, share stories, and find solace in the enduring legacy of love she leaves behind. Mahogany's spirit will forever soar in our hearts, reminding us of the precious gift of family and the strength of love.
