Marcella Carpenter

Carpenter, Marcella (nee Thornberry) passed on May 29, 2022 at the age 82 years 2 months and 2 days in Anderson Township , OH.  She was born May 3, 1940 in Morehead, KY to her parents; the late Andrew J. and Mayme Thornberry.  She was the devoted wife of many years to the late Silas John Carpenter.  Loving mother of John "Jac" Allen Carpenter and Step-mother of Debra Klein.  Sister of the late Mable Enzor, Govel Thornberry, Jenell Wymer, Janna Bauer, and James Thornberry.  Also survived by 2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Saturday, June 4, 2022 for a Celebration of Life Visitation from 1PM to 3PM at Moore Family Funeral Homes, 225 Spring Street, Batavia, OH 45103.  Memorial donations may be directed to donor's choice. Marcella worked at Senco for 20 years and at Sporty's for 10+ years.
