Margaret Hammack

CINCINNATI - Margaret Hammack, age 92, passed away on April 19, 2024. She was born on August 13, 1931 to the late Clayton Clift and Arline (nee Definger) Little. Margaret was the devoted mother of Diane (Mike) Lilly, Butch (Barb) Hammack, and Karen (late Kurt) Hamilton; grandmother of 8, great-grandmother of 20, and great-great grandmother of 10; dear sister of Carolyn Greger and sister-in-law of Patsy Pegg. Margaret was also preceded in death by former spouse Earl T. Hammack and additional siblings. 

Margaret loved her grandchildren. She enjoyed planting flowers and grew tomatoes in a small garden each year at her home. She was known for her sewing abilities, and was happiest when she was on a beach, especially in Florida. 

Friends and family may visit on April 25, 2024, from 10AM until 11:30AM funeral service at Moore Family Funeral Homes - 225 Spring Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery in Wayne Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Margaret's honor may be made to Heartland Hospice or Ronald McDonald House.
