Marie Davis

Marie Davis of Batavia, Ohio went peacefully to her Heavenly Father on 1/1/2015. Marie is survived and was the beloved wife to Troy Davis of 71 years. Born 4/15/1926 to Grace and Marvin Young. Sister of Claudette Hughes (deceased). Marie was the loving Mother of Beverly Simon, Charles Davis (deceased) Troy Davis Jr, Norma Davis (Jackie), David Davis (deceased), Daryle Davis (Koza), Cathy Sue (Dan) Conners and Kimberly Compton (Mark). Grandmother to, Christopher Simon (Kathy), Troy James Davis (Susan), Justin and Troy Davis III , Alyson Gerwe (Jim), Danny (Julie), David, Jimmy Dan, Michael (Ashley), Jessica Conners (Mark), Samantha and Amanda Compton. She is also survived by 10 Great-Grandchildren. Marie was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 9630 and a ‘Mother to All Children’ of her many friends and neighbors over the years.
