Granny told me she loved me the first time I met her, and every single time afterwards. I know she meant it too. Ill always remember her sense of humor, how sweet and humble she was & also how she made everyone around her feels safe & calm. She was a true earth angel & I am so thankful for having had her in my life. My deepest heartfelt condolences to all her loved ones. Peace be with you. Noemi & Karina Burns

I'll always remember my grandma as loving, selfless, and witty. She put her family ahead of herself and had lots of love to share. She was at her happiest when she was taking care of family and tending to her home. Many of my fondest childhood memories are the weekends and summers that Natasha and I spent with Grandma and Grandpa. Her heart was always in Kentucky and I am happy we are taking her back home.

I will truly miss my Aunt Ethel. She was such a jewel. She was so sweet and I loved all those hugs and kisses. Aunt Ethel knew how to dish out love to all of us, especially her baby brother... my sweet Daddy. I remember all the times when she came down to visit with her sister, daughter, and her grandchildren. I remember how Maggie and Ethel would love to shop at Dog Patch Trading Post, since the original location was near where they once lived. I have lots of memories of my precious Aunt Ethel purchasing those Minooka moccasins in which she always enjoyed wearing. As she grew older, she reminded me more and more of her mother , my beloved Mamaw Reed. Rest In Peace my sweet angel.

Ethel will be greatly missed... I have wonderful memories of her as a kid... she was the salt of the earth and would always call everyone angel... funny story when I was little around preschool age me and pap were sitting around the kitchen table with his sisters Maggie and Ethel. Maggie made a joke about the spare change pap had in front of him (she said I wish we had that change just playing with me) so pap and I divided the change up with them. Ethel told my granny this past Christmas she still carried that change in an envelope in her purse. Love you Ethel and family... forever missed
